Tiramisu Gelato Cake


This is not the first Tiramisu ice cream I see but the pictures and the list of ingredients make me think it’s very good. Also as the author I am passionate about Tiramisu and this could not be missing from my collection

My favorite dessert to order is has always been Tiramisu.  My obsession with the espresso infused flavors in this Italian inspired cake led me to experiment a bit, and I landed on this delicious little treasure – Tiramisu Ice Cream Cake. Layers of espresso soaked pound cake and coffee ice cream, with a little hint of shaved chocolate make the perfect decadent summer dessert.


  • 1 loaf frozen pound cake, cut crosswise into 1/4″ thick slices
  • 0.66 cups water
  • 0.5 cups sugar
  • 0.75 cups strong, freshly brewed espresso (or strong, freshly brewed coffee)
  • 0.25 cups finely ground espresso (or instant coffee granules)
  • 0.5 gallons coffee ice cream, softened
  • 4 Tablespoons chocolate, shaved
